We are conveniently situated just 30 minutes from Dartmoor and approx 45 minutes from Exmoor. Lots of stunning places to visit in these 2 great locations
Beaches
The closest beach is Exmouth which is just a 25 minute car ride but other local beaches include Budleigh Salterton, Beer, Sidmouth, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Torquay
Killerton House & Danes Woods
These are just a 5 minute drive from the cottage and both offer stunning Country Walks, owned and managed by the National Trust. We can recommend the Cream Tea at Killertons Cafe and Tea Room
Poltimore
Poltimore is a beautiful little village with many thatched cottages and a grade I listed Church. There is a farm shop where you can pick up local produce just a 5 minute drive from the cottage along with Branches Cafe at Poltimore House offering Snacks and Cream Teas.
Exeter City Centre
We are just a 10 minute drive from the centre of Exeter.
With its stunning Cathedral and historical Cathedral Close, its a great place to spend the day.
Exeter has lots of good places to eat too. The Quay area is also worth a visit!
Exeter University
